Glenn van Capelle (Owner) has much pride in all the work that he is doing and in all the work he has done. Glenn started out working with his father, (who was also a General Contractor), by painting as a young boy. As time passed, he started doing other items, such as, electrical, plumbing, and finish carpentry. In the early to mid-1980's, Glenn has been framing custom homes and room additions for various contractors and remodeling companies in Orange County.
For much of the mid-1990's, Van Capelle Construction was rebuilding and repairing homes that were burnt or destroyed from fires throughout Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Orange Counties.
Van Capelle Construction has concentrated on doing only additions for the past 20 years and has built a very nice referral base. Some of our past clients have used Van Capelle Construction more than once. A very high percentage of our work is signed by referrals. We hope to continue to build our referral base for years to come. Remember, "A Nice Home, Is a Happy Home." or as the guys may say "Happy Wife, Happy Life".
DESIGNS:
We specialize in Custom Designing for all of our additions. We like our designs to look like the house was originally built that way, not like an afterthought or an addition (see before & after pictures). We modernize the older homes to update their look. We start the design process with preliminary designs for review, this gives you a floor plan and a couple of elevations for the first review, now we can make any changes before we design the structure with engineering to be built as per building specifications and codes.
SUBCONTRACTORS:
All of our subcontractors specialize in only their perspective trades and are required by Van Capelle Construction to carry all proper insurances.
